Service Description

Over time, stabilizer (CYA), calcium, and other dissolved minerals naturally build up in the water. Once these levels get too high, normal adjustments can’t bring things back in balance—and that’s when a water treatment comes to the rescue. Pools that use lots of chlorine tabs or have hard fill water may need a reset every 1–2 years, while carefully maintained or saltwater pools can often go longer. We always base this on your pool’s actual readings, not a fixed schedule, so you only reset when it truly helps. When total dissolved liquids (TDS), CYA or Calcium get too high, you may need a partial drain and fill. This will lower excess minerals and help prevent scale buildup, corrosion, and strain on heaters, filters, pumps, and salt cells, keeping everything running smoother and lasting longer. If certain chemicals are too low, there is also a risk. Calcium Hardness should generally be between 200-400. Low levels can cause the water to pull calcium from the plaster, which can lead to etching and pitching and potentially damage equipment.
